I read books and write papers
Reading: Come as You Are by Nagoski
Writing: What is the wrong of Insensitivity?
At what stage do you put it in? I'm assuming after the vegetables are cooked but before the broth and tomatoes are added so it acts like a vinegar reduction?

I get that it feels like this. But is there evidence of this? Does discourse result in less action when the time comes? I always thought the nice thing about us is we do begrudgingly form coalitions consistently which is why any high turnout eleciton goes our way. We do our part in any case.

I started at 27! Late 20s trans girlies looking amazing is always inspiring! Thanks for sharing!

Amy Olberding is one of the coolest people ever so I get it

Yeah same. I haven't paid attention in a while, and Jael is a genuine person, so I'm curious if I missed something while ignoring the program. Maybe there was something amazing I hadn't paid attention to. So, that's why I'm curious and asked.

But because of Peter and the reaction of people in my Department to his behavior, I'm getting my degree and then leaving the profession. I like philosophy and education. I can't stand how bigotry loving professional philosophers are.

I'm a grad at UMD. Pretty much no one knows this happened. The faculty and some grad students do. I'm worried about the cost of being loud about this as I finish my degree. Those who know are surprised and that's it. Being a famous philosopher is more important than having values in philosophy.

How did your fan commitment survive the last half a decade of a trans abuse? I enjoyed it for a while in highschool and undergrad, but the older I got the more it just seemed like punching down on particularly non-white and queer folks. So, what do you see in it?

Someone clearly watched Gods Not Dead and wanted to have a Kevin Sorbo moment.

Congrats! Much of the fun of writing gets ignored in philosophical conversations in my experience, so a non-substantive question: do you have a favorite passage or were you particularly satisfied with how the writing of any section turned out?

@aricohn.com Good faith question: Why not intervene in cases like those in Texas universities where talking about trans people is being prohibited? Given when you did intervene, do you not see how someone might in good faith doubt that you have the interests of any trans folks in mind?

Such a philosopher. Two entrenched positions? Nope.
Everyone is wrong. It's this other thing. Who are you? Alan Turing telling philosophers of mind that debates about intelligence are pointless and passing as intelligent is all that matters? Like, calm down over there we get it you're fancy.

What's the dream pick up scenario?

Never a bad time to be a sentimentalist. It's explicitly pro capitalist by design.

IIRC, this is similar to what Endre Begby is getting at in his paper on evidential preemption.

Super lovely, thanks for sharing! Next time I'm back in the state I'm thinking of camping in Lake Pend Oreille. Would that be close enough to see the northern lights with a bit of luck?

Woah! I'm a boise girlie who hasn't been back to ID in ages. What area is that? Like I don't want to be invasive but how astonishingly beautiful. I'm assuming north of CDA?

I don't know if this is basic. But lining all the drawers drastically reduces cleaning time and gives you a cover for mold and things in case something spills without you knowing.

Look, Peter is a diehard UMD fan and an aspiring transphobe radicalized by people disagreeing with him gently over a publication he doesn't care that much about! He has a lot going on right now!

His brief adventure in deontic logic is my personal favorite.

The true challenge of marriage is getting your easiest critic to laugh at your jokes when they've degraded from years of having an easier critic.

Hey, your career and passions are part of who you are and they matter! Fwiw, my wife and I exclusively listen to episodes you're on because we love the way you talk. Those jerks are the worst. Please accept you have some real fans though and that says something super cool about you and your work <3

Weren't you softly critiquing the creators making the game easier a little while ago? Is your preference that it stays the same level of suck? Or would you find it reasonable for updates that make it to suck less?
