Our most popular Penguin is Colin Farrell's portrayal of Oz taking over half the fiction entries for the week. The art favourite was 'all media' which covers all unspecified interpretations. I'm very pleased to see representation of many versions, including a couple for audio adventures!

We didn't forget Bruce Timm's latest series: Batman Caped Crusader. Our female Penguin won hearts and Oswalda will be a wonderful addition to #penguinweek. Her relationship with her boys, how she got to power in Gotham, or what may be next for her are all interesting ideas but let's see what you do.

LEGO games have become a staple and the Batman versions have garnered sequels such as Super-Villains that allow in-game selfies. This could let you explore the prompts in character, as Penguin, with photography or build your own take on it for #penguinweek with whatever bricks and playsets you have.

To fans who read the early comics, the 1960s TV show would have felt perfectly natural. Modern audiences may take a different view but it is bright and fun regardless. Plus it gave Penguin a submarine and several "going straight" arcs. Why not try a homage to this iconic version for #penguinweek?

Not every Penguin is high profile so maybe you want to pick something lesser known. Silly hijinks are the order of the day if you choose Teen Titans GO for #penguinweek. This is a version adept with trick umbrellas and comfortable with his fellow rogues. If you think your idea is too wacky, it's not

Have you ever wondered what the future holds for Penguin? Merry Little Batman looks at a time when the rogues are older and the competition younger. He'd lost none of his drive and it highlighted the camaraderie between the villains. Why not use #penguinweek to consider if he ages gracefully or not.

The Telltale games didn't have the hype of the Arkham series, maybe because they tried new character dynamics. This Penguin was a childhood friend of Bruce Wayne and had an equally traumatic experience. How their lives diverged makes a good project for #penguinweek. This had so much left to explore.

Danny DeVito's Penguin changed the perception of the character forever from a tuxedoed gentleman to a Tim Burton monster. Rejected at birth, raised with penguins, he found his way back to a society that continued to shun him for his abnormalities. Perhaps time for a sympathetic look for #penguinweek

Batman Ninja gave us Lord Penguin inhabiting feudal Japan. With his penguin army and Trojan Birdman Castle he held off his rivals until they were all betrayed by Gorilla Grodd. The setting and aesthetic make it an intriguing choice for #penguinweek and with the sequel adding lore it's ripe to expand

Separate to the Arkham games but with a similar vibe, Gotham Knights introduced Penguin as an informant... if you can impress him enough to talk. He's an experienced rogue who knows far more than he's going to let on. It's his city to run from the shadows. A new version to play with for #penguinweek

The Arkham games showed us Penguin in different roles. From Origins where he's making waves as a mob boss, through the main series running his club and criminal racket, up to Suicide Squad: KtJL as the last of the old guard and supplying weaponry. Its an emotional range to explore for #penguinweek

Lots of people watched Gotham, since it detailed numerous rogues' origin stories, and it highlighted Penguin's rise to power. Design changes were made although certain themes were revisited such as his mayoral campaign and ability to play the long game. Use this version how you like for #penguinweek

One for the newest Penguins to join the ranks was for younger audiences and reintroduced his amphibious duckmobile. Batwheels isn't for everyone but its a fun cartoon with cute designs and could give a different dynamic for #penguinweek. This Penguin is theatrical and you could even use Ducky's POV.

A lesser known variant is Unlimited's Penguin. Older and perhaps wiser than most, he's upwardly mobile and has built the Aviary in Gotham. His plans are audacious, he's not afraid to coerce others, but is still vulnerable to societal jibes. Why not challenge yourself for #penguinweek with this take?

Another unique portrayal of the Penguin was 2004's The Batman cartoon. He was shown to be an adept fighter, coming from old money, and sporting a flaming new hairdo. Well travelled, he'd gained companions in the form of the Kabuki Twins. His sociability could be worth examining for #penguinweek

I have no doubt we have new fans to the Penguin after Colin Farrell's portrayal. He was good in The Batman but really shined in his own series. It gave him a new backstory while keeping several familiar traits. Like it or loathe it, I'm sure it generated plenty of ideas that might fit #penguinweek

For a certain generation of fans, the animated series was where they got hooked on the Penguin. It integrated his look from the 1992 movie into his classic design making something iconic. He also established his Iceberg Lounge thus dodging the law. Why not indulge with this version for #penguinweek?

The Penguin has been around a very long time, since 1941 in fact. People have tried various takes on the character but some aspects always stay the same: his tactical skills and desire for social recognition. Maybe for #penguinweek you'll go back to basics with trick umbrellas or pick a later trait.
