We all saw how this worked out: "You got so excited to see if you could, you didn't stop to think about if you should."

I thought I was a great communicator until I had kids. As in, I communicate for a living - I can break down ideas simply and concisely.
FAIL.

Both boys now say things like, "I don't understand what you're saying but it's making my brain hurt. Be quiet please?"

It's 5.09am. I've been resume reworking for 7 hours. Damn. Still feel unsure about what's included. Keep going back and forth, increasing and decreasing bullets and numbers and achievements. I think I just spent $50 on a damn layout service. Arrrghh.

But no one is listening, or funding, or valuing caretaking! And it is killing us parents inside, and hurting our children long-term. Can you imagine, 1) people helping and responding to a baby's cries each day?

What is the drug or skill or therapy that fosters flexible thinking? I need to douse 200 people today.

Adapting to change in your day/routine/expectation is REQUIRED. Every day.

You not flexing makes life 100x harder. I live in reality of what "is," not the land of what "should" be.

Arrrghh

I'm on the side of SAG. If that means waiting longer for them to get a good deal, then I'm ok with waiting longer for Sandman Season 2. When we all eventually sit down to watch it, it will feel better knowing that the actors on screen were better compensated.

I don’t know the answer to many of the world’s great problems. But have they tried diverting all power to the forward array? That worked for us often.
