I never understood Twitter, glad to have a replacement I also don't understand! I have little to offer except general anger at the state of the world and pigeon pictures, you are welcome to both.

- because this morning when I told him I had to clean some cat throw up he insisted "NO, that's not throw up, that's just their PRESENT. Why are you cleaning up their PRESENT??" Little arms crossed in indignation. I had nothing prepped for that!

I think about that ALL THE TIME, what the fuck. Like the weirdest most fucked up thing to think in the first place, and then to just say it out loud unprompted??

*Victorian London Fog, excuse me.

I love Harney and Sons- their mint is superb, and London Fog is incredible. Plus, when you finish, you have a very nice, good sized tin!

Boundaries! Gone! Wild! (AKA the bare minimum of decent parenting and treating children like human beings with rights.)

LFL people who police their books are the weirdest little freaks. You cannot put things out for the express purpose of people taking them for free ans then be mad that people take them! Free items cannot be stolen!

Every year we have one friend who has never tried it and I get to introduce the horror and strange culinary compulsion to a new unsuspecting victim.

We always did T-giving with my dad's family, which is the Jewish side of my family (heavy emphasis on the "ish"). We always had gefilte fish on the table. No idea why, no one liked it, but it HAD to be there. Now I too find myself compelled to serve it at my friendsgivings.

Hey @teenvogue.com, firing all your politics writers (including apparently all of your Black and trans writers) is the silliest move you could possibly make in the face of everything that is happening in the world. Until they are all made whole, I won't be reading anything you publish.

Monty is the best. I feel bad that the "jobs for the weekend" were so stressful for him; they got me through some awful depression times a few years back.

We told them we could take them for the night and get them to a shelter, so they handed them over. One kitten escaped during the handover and the whole group of kids went after it and got it back safe. After of all this, they started to leave without even taking candy!! I had to push it on them.

Teens are always the sweetest, most polite trick or treaters we get. Our first Halloween at our house, a group of teens were carrying around two stray kittens (from different places) they found and were desperately trying to figure out what to do with as none of them were allowed to being them home.

I just read these books for the first time and this is how I've been explaining it to everyone 😂 "Okay, so there's this girl, and she's secretly a Greg but she doesn't know it, and then she finds out she's a super special Greg and all the other Gregs are kind of weird about it..."

Hey, it's actually really weird to bury the lede that this woman was killed by an ex partner who stalked her. Domestic violence is a really serious thing that should be reported on accurately and fully, not used to make sensational headlines about "crime in Silver Spring".
