I would also accept “dark” fantasy that was dark in the same sense that Wall-E is dystopian. Just a silly silent guy exploring the ruins of the world.

There were two right ways to do this:
1. Zero dialog dark fantasy mood piece with one actor and puppets.
2. Every single character is an inscrutable little freak, with Link being the freakiest and most inscrutable.

People are (understandably) desperate to have the danger we're in taken seriously. Unfortunately, it pretty regularly dips into blurring the truth. I get the impulse, but we really do need to reserve that urgency for when that hammer finally falls.

Am I wrong to think this is now accelerating much more quickly towards a breaking point?
I don’t know if it’s just my circles, but the concern among trans people has felt like high key panic the last couple of days (hi I’m trans people).

Unfortunately very aware… my cis partner has related the horror stories from Persona while I stick to SMT and, well, Metaphor I guess. Neither of us could stomach Catherine at release, let alone now.
