Combat & Magic were equal to or better than in 2. Portrait sprites were AMAZING and the general vibe of this game is wonderful, but the first thing that comes to mind about my time with this game was all my aimless wandering :P
Could be a case of me being stupid, though.

Ys IV: The Dawn of Ys
Its hard to say how I feel about this one? Majority of the game is fine to good (soundtrack and dub were highlights), but the grinding, dungeon design, and general exploration were things I am just not built for. Ys 6's rough edges made me appreciate the title more, but here?
