I beat this game (still need to 100% it tho lol) before King of Cards but wanted to save it for the last entry of this 2025 thread because it has really clicked with me and I need to make it known how freaking cool it is. thats all folks no more video games this year bye bye

Picayune Dreams - IMMEDIATELY latched onto this game after a few minutes, and constantly was amazed by the music, visuals, and everything inbetween. Its hard to make a concise summary of my thoughts, so I wont! Cyl is so cool and I hope the devs get a million bajillion dollars (its $3 rn btwwwwww)

...I think the card game was kind of shitty and I did NOT want to play it at all. Did all the Joustus buildings to see if it would grow on me and it rlly didn't.
That being said, the MAIN part of the game is definitely one of the best things I played this year.

King of Cards - best game by a country mile. No moveset jank like specter or plague, FANTASTIC upgrades. Levels are super good (short length and multiple paths did wonders) and don't feel bogged with instant kills, this guy is the funniest asshole to ever do it. Fantastic platformer, buuuuuuuuut....
