Typical of many Americans that you make no effort to understand other countries and just think your world view should be accepted. Indigenous Australians CHOOSE to be called Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Like I suggested - do some research.

So is there any kind of obscure law or statute that would allow for a senile, dangerous and cruel President to be immediately replaced by this man - a Senator showing humanity, bravery and honour? Because I know a few hundred million people who’d probably go for that. 👍

Mate, you need to do a whole lot more research on Australia if you want to have an opinion. In particular, calling our proud indigenous people ‘the natives’ is about THE most offensive thing you could say.

None of the legal people involved in any of this are getting paid, are they? It’s about time they declared him a vexatious litigant and had done with it.

I’m sorry - you should have that and more. It’s so confusing to the rest of us that US social support is so awful. Supporting actual people (rather than corporations or investors) doesn’t ever seem to be considered as the first option to solve problems.

Ah, I don’t think so. Pretty sure that’s been gone a while. We have parental leave for both parents who have a newborn, and family tax benefits. Plus child care supplements ( or free childcare some places). It was John Howard though so maybe they’re thinking of going back to conservative policy 🤷♀️
