Sorry, but president Mattarella is right: the Nazi invasion of Poland in 1939 and the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022 are “similar in nature.” Both invasions were justified by historically interpretative claims (if not blatant lies) with the intent of annexing/expanding national territory.
