I picked up some almond toffee in Wilton Manors today, at the wonderful To The Moon candy shop. It's one of my favorite sweets of all time. Second best thing I've had in my mouth lately!

I've been in a weird headspace lately but this morning I'm feeling a bit better. Decided to walk to the park and give the locals a little snack. That squirrel was almost in my lap at one point! I'm glad I could give these creatures a little happiness. We all need it. ❤️

This jigsaw was intimidating as hell. I'd never done a wooden puzzle like this before, but I was ready for the challenge. There are SO many unique and fun shapes, and the feeling when it all started coming together was insanely stimulating (oh my).

In early June, I stopped at a pack-n-ship place to send a package. They had a raffle I could enter to win one of three prizes. I entered it and didn't think I'd ever get picked. They called me yesterday saying I won and to come by and pick one of three envelopes at random. Now I'm $300 richer!

So I finally opened a bottle of Balvenie 15 that I bought about 10 years ago. It's gotten a bit... dark. It tastes fine (no vinegar notes at all) but the darkness is a little alarming.
