🇨🇦Mother to 3 humans, 2 dogs and 2 cats.
They actually sell cleaning brushes in the same shape. Which I don’t buy because crappy toothbrushes are still about 50 cents at the dollar store.

Meh. I have been on 7 different therapies that cost that much and you don’t know if it’s working for months at a time.

I still have great faith in the system. I may not have gotten better in the past 10 years but I could have become much, much worse. I would be in a care home likely without them.

I’m trying! Jesus said that there were no other commandments other than:

Believe in God
Be kind

Matthew 22:36-40

Get with the program fellow Christians. I am trying very hard but I am only one person! Be kind! Think of others before yourself.

Which is four pints or about 2 litres for the non-US. 😊

It sounds so disgusting but modern fish sauce is good…

We want more! (Though if we could build some housing, please?)

I love new Canadians. ❤️🇨🇦

I like poutine. But I love ketchup and gravy. My mom used to do it and I thought it was gross until I tried it.

(Best with Harvey’s fries and gravy.)

I had to use math to figure out the relative price of Parmesan this morning.

Grocery shopping is a major math situation these days.

I work from home and don’t ever turn on my camera. Sweatpants all day, everyday.

I dunno. I think I am going to suggest this to my mom who has a bad hip and insists on clearing the walk….

Better than when, while eating Jambalaya, my kids asked what shrimp were.

I told them I would let them know when they were done. 😁

I dunno. It’s based on a 17th century ballad. Could be okay?

(I am still all about Disney’s Robin Hood.)

Yes, with cooking, I totally agree. You measure with your heart.

But baking? That stuff is science and she just…did it. No matter what I do, I can’t make a pie crust half as good as hers.

There will be Figgy Duff with tomorrow’s turkey!

Thinking of making Pease Pudding, too.

How much for a deuce?

My grandma was also from Newfoundland. She couldn’t read and didn’t own measuring spoons or cups. But, wow! She could cook and bake like none other.

While she was still with us, my mom followed her while she made things to make up ‘recipes’ for everything she made.

Her cup was a specific glass.😂

More Canadians! More Canadians!

Either way, I greatly appreciate the enlightenment.

My experience with it is that, especially in the software industry, in the short term, it will SEEM to be more efficient

However, if no human wrote the code, when the bugs happen, no one knows precisely how it works or how to fix it. Which just causes more work to be needed.

Omg! This is what I have been trying to articulate for years. And you just did in 11 words.

Thank you! 🙏

I’m so Canadian, we are selling maple syrup as a fundraiser for my kid’s hockey team.

(And I was honestly shocked how easy it was to sell them.)
November 24, 2025 at 3:14 AM
We say it all the bloody time. Despite trying not to!
November 19, 2025 at 12:40 AM
Wait, what? This is a no-brainer. It will save countless infant lives.
November 18, 2025 at 4:28 PM
That’s what I was thinking. Gee, she looks a little young for menopause.
