how/why is the clock lit but it doesn't extend outward to the ceiling or floor? like I get lighting the clock in-universe, clocks are worthless if you can't read them, but why do it like that?

when you think about an interrogation room, you think about a little table with a lamp and some one-way glass, with flat grey walls. not an evil boardroom with an extraneous viewing window six feet away.

even stranger is the possibility that it was a room somewhere else entirely, masquerading as an interrogation room. i feel like that's the most likely, but then, why pick it? it doesn't add to the realism.

it may have been a set built for the movie, in which case, why go to all the trouble, or it was an actual US government facility that the production had access to, in which case, why did *they* go to all the trouble?
