Continue to stan (are we still saying this?) Bookmongers in Brixton. I mean, look at that cat.

Like the brilliant Bookmongers here in Brixton - complete with unimpressed cat

Anyway, here’s some “British” curries for you as claimed by British-Asians (unsure on where on the indian subcontinent their families may have originally come from) at the Sundorban in Bridport

I see they didn’t like getting dragged for being a racist shit (as a liberal American). Anyway, here’s the skeet (with identifiers removed).

Got to play “Through Ice & Snow” this evening - pretty good, starts out quite slow but gets a lot more interesting halfway through as you run out of resources. Lovely evening all in all

Have you seen MAXIMUM walrus? (With thanks to @c0nc0rdance.bsky.social for the name). *This* is my picture I took of him when I moved back to London and visited the Horniman museum (posted with someone else’s picture originally). He is great and so very overstuffed.

So, to stave off the horrors, I have been painting minis again and finally finished my elven union team I bought 4 and a half years ago. I’m really pleased with them, even if they’re obviously not as good as lots of mini painters

Happy New Year to all! Here’s a terrible picture of the London fireworks taken from Brockwell Park while I was stuffing my face with a peanut butter and banana donut supplied by a friend (now with alt text)

Spent yesterday up at the south bank with A Christmas Carol, probably my favourite place in London. I do adore this city.

It’s highly misrepresentative of his position (which you might still disagree with) which is laid out in the article.

I guess we’re all doing this then. Bluesky now has over 10 million users, and I was #459,582!

If we’re going military history then I raise you Greenwich Maritime Museum, as the senior service I’m pretty sure the Royal Navy trumps the RAF (do love the RAF museum though)

Horniman is excellent AND have a stuffed walrus. Look at that majestic south london chap
