Goldenrod time is the best time #NativePlants
Beautiful whispy blooms of a wrinkle leaf goldenrod plant span across the image. There are also the purple berries of a Polk plant in the lower right. And blanket flowers with a dark brown center, and red petals with yellow tips on the upper left. A side view of a pipevine swallowtail butterfly. From this view, the wings appear black with orange and white dots lacing the lower edges. The body is black with white dots. It is sitting on a red flower with green stems and flowers. The flower is a native in the mint family.

Saw a few butterflies in the garden this afternoon. It cooled off a lot and was lightly raining. I love seeing monarchs and spicebush swallowtails along with the bees and wasps. #NativePlants bring native insects

A chord broke on my window blind and I fixed it. I had to replace all 4 cords because the replacement cords were a different diameter than the original cords. #mending
