Pre season is starting with some teams all ready in UAE.

We were good in the PP and Rashid again bowled well but we looked devoid of any real plan. I predicted we’d blow the run chase trying to hit it out of the ground, we’d got to nearly run a ball hit the singles and wait for the pressure loss ball and we’d have won

Bowled some utter dross and looked as about as threatening with the ball as my sleeping cat. Same old failings with the bat

It was rather good to sit back and not have to worry about the 2nd half. Good run out for everyone and we won’t mention the penalty

I think we are seeing the worst of the PL corporate policies coming in, we need money coming in for FFP I took heart from the words that no gambling sponsorship would be considered for main shirt ( guess MSC are favs for that ). At least Man City have removed them let’s hope we follow suit soon!

Defo on the radar I think they like a batsman who can keep rather than a keeper who can bat. Who knows who’ll they’ll call up as a replacement!
