Been listening to this on repeat and thinking about Evan coming back home after going through hell and being reminded of everything she lost even before the events of the campaign.
She used to be so lively. She had her future planned out. Now she’s just barely getting by.

Also oh boy the section of them dealing with the trauma of the campaign’s events is worse.
Laney having a mental breakdown while Evan pretends to be okay until they get into a fight about Evan’s actual mental deterioration. It hurts so good.

The whole chunk of this playlist from when Evan almost dies til she and Laney finally escape the area is so devastating and I’m still shocked that they both lived at the end of the game.
Like I was rooting for Evan to die yet she not only lived but also essentially resurrected her best friend!!!
