One risks sounding like a jerk, that’s not my intention. But that period is super fascinating, complex, dark, awful all set in this landscape that to me is as much a character as the vast array of humans…

These are really nice paintings. Whenever I see stuff like this it makes that period of N. Am seem so magical and fantastical and lovely. Obs. it was a horrible and complex period too. My first viewing of Last Mohicans as kid never left me. Of course the bad, but also a kind of landscape majesty 🤔

I get the feeling you’d enjoy them. I’m not into math or stats or graphs, but they’re quite beautiful books…I imagine for you they’d function like lovely art books that were also interesting 🤔
