Epson is forcing users to enable location services on their Windows computer in order to install a printer driver!?

Clicking "Cancel" exits the installation but closing the window from the "X" somehow by-passes the location check and allows the installation to proceed...

Windows 11 search is so useless that it can't even find its own OS settings... "𝘈𝘥𝘥 𝘰𝘳 𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘮𝘴" doesn't come up as a result when searching the terms "𝘢𝘥𝘥", "𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘰𝘷𝘦", or "𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘭". But it does for "𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘭"🤷

If you are in the UK, EU, US, or Brazil, their AI chatbot gives you links generic-looking "Sony Pictures" gdpr forms.
