Just did my first no American products grocery shop. Buying all Canadian wasn't possible (I ended up about 50% Canadian, 50% non-American countries) but I was able to avoid US made products quite easily.

One of the great gifts writing fic has given me is the ability to just WRITE.
Fic readers are so lovely and forgiving of continuity errors, typos and occasionally clunky prose. They're there for the characters and the universe, and if you do that well they are happy to read.

For anyone trying to break the Twitter habit (which I get. I've had an account of one kind or another since 2009) highly recommend replacing the Twitter app with Bsky's on your phone.
