I've drifted from gaming more recently towards my calligraphy and writing over digital things. I still game a bit and yeah outside of some DRM that wants root access Proton has been amazing.
I personally blame AI the more the slop happens the more I want to do creative things.

I left Linux originally because I was tired of the fuss of dual booting for gaming. I've had no issues though since swapping back to Arch distros. Linux has come a very long way since I played with it last. Plus the writing software I was trialing works via a Luteis installer which is nice

I just cycled back to Linux after years on Windows due to issues with gaming. Now I game less and don't want an LLM messing with my stuff. It's nice to be back to see how far it came
