I have a doctor’s appointment tomorrow where she’s probably going to tell me I need to start taking dieting and exercising if I want to live a long life, and I’ll have to somehow break it to her that I do not in fact want that.

Last night I baked my favorite cookies.
This morning my autistic 8yo dumped them in the sink to use their container for playing sink or float.
What I learned from this is that next time I make cookies, I have no choice but to eat them all immediately.

My biggest accomplishment in 2025 was making it through all the RFK stuff without producing another autistic offspring just out of spite.

My autistic 8yo’s recent hyperfixation has been sink or float, which he saw on Blippi. On an unrelated note his AAC device is currently being repaired for water damage

About 80% of my 6yo’s speech right now is just him verbalizing his Minecraft daydreams.
I’m also a daydreamer but I don’t think I ever spoke them out loud as a child like he does.
I love that for him. Be loud and proud my little weirdo.

My great grandpa’s half brother went to school for one day as a child, and never went back because he couldn’t speak English.
Both of his parents were born here.
His mom’s parents were also born here.
Not everyone assimilates quickly and that’s honestly fine.

I recently found out my 7x great grandfather was excommunicated from an Anabaptist group for being a universalist . Not even sure if I’m universalist myself, but I love that for him
