Talked to some cool National Parks folks today outside the grocery store! They were raising awareness about defunding, etc. It was really nice to have a positive, real-world interaction with fellow human beings!

I shopped, in-person, at King Soopers today for groceries. With a teen/tween filled large family, I tend to enjoy my biweekly grocery delivery from the Mart of Wal. However, I am incorporating baby steps to get away from supporting the mega corps. Many drops together make up the ocean, right?

Managed to find 5 dozen eggs at Sam’s for about $18. Offset some of that cost by selling our old washer & dryer. Plan to eat/bake half the eggs and freeze half for leaner times. (Freezing method: crack one egg into each compartment of an ice cube tray, freeze, pop egg cubes into a freezer bag)

My 1st post. I’m a bit salty about excessively rising grocery prices here, while seeing videos of fresh produce & affordable groceries in China. My guess is that our gov’t wants to ban TT because Americans are becoming informed & disgruntled. A distraction app is OK, but an informed populace isn’t.
