After bag 9, the secondary hull now seems complete (with ventral and dorsal surfaces, and deflector dish array), apart from the two engine nacelles.

Bag 8 completes the ventral surface of the secundary hull.

Right, after a break, what do I continue with today? Bag 8+9 to finish the secondary hull excluding the nacelles? Or first, bag 10+11 to have the stand ready to already put the current model on, whenever I'm working on subassemblies from 8+9? 🤔

(Might even build the stand next, as this current partial model can already be put onto it, even if the dorsal and ventral surfaces of the secondary hull are not yet finished at this stage.)

Okay, that connects both (slightly unfinished) halves of the secondary hull into a single piece (three Technic axles and three double ball and socket joints). Next, finishing the secundary hull (including engine nacelles), the stand, and then add the primary hull, or saucer section.

Oh right, that. Haven't built that far, and when it's done you won't see the plaque anyway, so I really could not care that much. 🤷🏼‍♂️ (Just as the clearly not quite written by a true fan pieces of intro text in the booklet.)
