Really interesting piece on forced military conscription in Ukraine and mass desertion by conscripts. Did not realise the desertion numbers were this high but US funded Radio Free Europe seems to confirm this article's ballpark figure of 17,000+ a month.

That was simultaneously the worst, scrappiest, yet brilliant and most thrilling game for quite a while! Leyton Orient unlucky to lose really but both teams could have scored 6 or 7 goals. The 3rd LOFC goal was fantastic BTW.

Cardiff offered nothing at all really down the right side - Davies needs to come in on that wing. Our team was lopsided with nearly all our good attacking play coming on Willock and Bagan's wing.

It's depressing! I think I saw somewhere that if UEFA bans Israel they are only banned from European competitions as the World Cup is a FIFA organisation, and FIFA will absolutely succumb to Trump as you say.
