Well deserved win that fair play

Same on R4 just now too. The BBC has an actual Pronunciation Dept that they check religiously for every other language except Welsh.

Russia also 70,000 desertions this year so it's a significant number on both sides.

No. It does wind us up. We hate it!

That was simultaneously the worst, scrappiest, yet brilliant and most thrilling game for quite a while! Leyton Orient unlucky to lose really but both teams could have scored 6 or 7 goals. The 3rd LOFC goal was fantastic BTW.

This short piece co-authored with Alex Yates shows why the misuse of populism plays right in the hands of the far right

(Annoyingly, the app is not allowing me to tag colleagues, but follow them!)

The word ‘populism’ is a gift to the far right – four reasons why we should stop using it
Extremists benefit when we use euphemisms that confer on them an air of legitimacy.

Fascinating quote from the Labour spokesperson that shows how populist hype works

It both legitimises the far right by euphemising it and linking it to "the people" and delegitimises left alternatives by equating them to the far right

What we see though is that push back is possible

Rattled, much?

A speech about unity, community and cohesion.

About the 99% Vs the 1%.

I'm not surprised the Labour Party didn't quite get that....

I, for one, was a Peter Kitchen fan!

Pete Hegseth demands to “untie the hands of our warfighters to intimidate, demoralize, hunt, and kill the enemies of our country.”

Donald Trump demands to use US cities "as training grounds for our military,” claiming “We’re under invasion from within. No different than a foreign enemy.”

Fascism.

Cardiff offered nothing at all really down the right side - Davies needs to come in on that wing. Our team was lopsided with nearly all our good attacking play coming on Willock and Bagan's wing.

It's depressing! I think I saw somewhere that if UEFA bans Israel they are only banned from European competitions as the World Cup is a FIFA organisation, and FIFA will absolutely succumb to Trump as you say.

I wonder if it's to do with the extensive BBC Wales coverage that the Welsh clubs get - so the League One page is just reposting literally everything about the clubs that BBC Wales reports.

Last time I went to Cardiff Castle I took a good look at the air raid shelters in the walls. I've concluded that this is my favourite part of the castle now.
