Snow days and birds.
Osprey near the Yakima River, south of Ellensburg, Washington, Sony A7 IV, Tamron 150-500mm lens. It was fire season so the sky was very smoky and the light has a yellow-orange tint.

New here as of tonight. I'm a retired math and science teacher and former research geologist (a LONG time ago) as well as an avid bird photographer. I enjoy boardgames, walking (in nicer weather), giving and attending science talks—yay, dinosaurs!, doing art, and building model planes.
