We have to finally stop treating any of those trumps, vances, musks, bezoss or zuckers as if there is anything reasonable, honest or empathetic about them. They are psychopaths that have to be encountered as such

As a German you learn in school a lot about the nazi regime and the holocaust. One of the most important lessons is that Hitler and the Nazis weren’t strong in the beginning at all. They succeeded due to the lack of resistance of public institutions, opposition and people.

Trump didn’t show the world how a good deal works.. he is just alienated allies. What did he get, a statement of intent to secure the border that can’t be really controlled by the US. It’s pathetic to read such superficial analysis. Plus does something think he really cares about drug trafficking?

Earnest post, but: a thing I like here is it’s okay to have moments of happiness in public without being broadly scolded, and I believe that sustaining this kind of humanity will be very important as we resist fascism.
