And indeed, they’d all respect him a lot more if he dropped the tough-guy act - and just acted true to himself.

It’s like watching some poor kid in school that hasn’t yet built the confidence to come out to his friends and family…

He’s acting tough and carefully speaking in the deepest voice he can manage… yet all his friends, family, and indeed the whole school, know it’s bullshit as they all know he’s gay

Starmer has outsourced his political and personal comms to those with a direction and ambition that often conflicts with his true personal beliefs

Perhaps this explains why Starmer struggles so badly with communicating and strategy… as he often doesn’t fully believe what he’s being forced to say.
December 12, 2025 at 12:01 PM
I think that’s sort of my point… I don’t dislike Starmer. I’m quite certain he’s a decent man… and if his political comms were driven by - and echoed - his true personal beliefs and integrity, he’d be a fantastic politician and leader…

Along with UK, Germany, France, Italy, Poland, Sweden, Canada, Australia, Japan etc, Norway is one of 34 nations in the “coalition of the willing”…

…and Norway alone could fund Ukraine’s entire military campaign to reach Azov coast and hit Kerch Bridge to ensure Putin is ousted in just weeks…
December 12, 2025 at 7:02 AM
My crap 20-year-old Toyota can drive 60-miles in under an hour

Surely combined might of UK, French, German, Italian, Polish, Swedish militaries & defence biz (and combined wealth of these nations) can arm Ukraine to push 60 miles against massively depleted Russian army & failing Russian economy.
December 12, 2025 at 6:32 AM
Russian armed forces have been decimated over past almost 4 years…Russia’s economy is smaller than just Italy’s

It makes no sense that the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Poland, Sweden etc combined (with all their defence companies & wealth) can’t arm Ukraine to push just 60 miles and hit one bridge..
December 12, 2025 at 6:23 AM
NATO is shackled by Trump… but Starmer/Macron’s “coalition of willing” is practically NATO without the US.

It makes no sense nations like UK, France, Germany, Poland, Sweden combined can’t arm Ukraine to push just 60 miles south, and arm Ukraine to hit a bridge with one missile….
December 12, 2025 at 6:18 AM
Once Ukraine cuts off all Russian forces west of Melitipol, a single direct hit on the Kerch Bridge would then cut Russian supply lines to all of Crimea.

Putin would fall from power if Russia lost Crimea and all land west of Melitipol….
December 12, 2025 at 6:13 AM
That “coalition of the willing” includes the UK, France, Germany, Poland, Sweden, Netherlands, Spain, Japan, Australia… Nations with massive Defence contractors and massive wealth…

Yet combined, they wont help Ukraine push just 60 miles south against a massively depleted Russian army…
December 12, 2025 at 6:09 AM
It’s just 60 miles from the current front line in Zaporizhzhia south to the Azov coast at Melitopol

Why can’t Starmer/Macron’s “coalition of willing” massively arm Ukraine forces to push just 60 miles south to Azov coast and cut all Russian forces west of that corridor from their supply lines?….

80% of politics is comms/messaging to craft public perception. Starmer’s govt can’t communicate. They may be nice people with good intentions—but with no comms skills, they shouldn’t be running the country. It’s like becoming a cafe’s chef—but you don’t know how to cook 80% of the cafe’s menu.
December 12, 2025 at 4:12 AM
Starmer constantly digs himself into holes that were totally avoidable. He and his govt’s horrendous communications & strategy cannot cope with Westminster politics. They’d probably be superb at running the Isle of Man or Guernsey, but simply fall at every hurdle in Westminster…
December 12, 2025 at 3:59 AM
You make a valid point Alex… however the inaccurate ‘island of strangers’ accusations simply highlight Starner’s godawful communication skills.

As PM to 70 million people in the world’s 5th largest economy, he should be able to speak without opening himself to accusations of racism…

Burnham also has excellent national name-recognition. He’s widely credited with Manchester’s remarkable renaissance - during years of Tory austerity that devastated rest of UK…

Labour MUST find him a set in Westminster make him leader to stand a chance of beating Farage in 2029.
December 10, 2025 at 12:05 PM
To beat Farage in 2029, Labour MUST replace Starmer with someone who isn’t shackled by Starmer’s asinine pledges to stay out of SM/EU, and someone totally unconnected to his hugely unpopular govt…

Burnham fits the bill - and unlike Starmer, Burnham’s Manchester roots make him popular outside M25…
December 10, 2025 at 12:02 PM
Compounding his already disastrous popularity with UK voters, Starmer’s “Make Brexit Work” position to stay out of Single Market and EU dictates he is automatically alienating over two-thirds of the UK electorate from voting Labour in 2029….
December 10, 2025 at 12:01 PM
Voter regret and irreversible UK demographic shift dictate that by the 2029 general election, more than two-thirds of the UK electorate will support rejoining Single Market - and even EU membership…
December 10, 2025 at 11:59 AM
Huge congrats on this coverage!

But…

Starmer’s govt debating caps of a UK/EU youth mobility scheme that doesn’t even exist yet - just shows how desperately behind-the-curve Starmer is with voters on all matters relating to the EU…

While the vast majority of Brits share the same values as Europeans and find American values to be verging on sociopathic, UK politicians & media are receiving handsome benefits & funding to constantly present an entirely false narrative that Brits are much closer cousins of Americans than Europeans
December 9, 2025 at 2:42 PM
Addendum: Of course we all know the answer…

The UK’s politics & media are heavily influenced & funded by interests that will significantly benefit from operating in a US-style economy of deregulation & corporatisation…
December 9, 2025 at 2:36 PM
Most Brits have no desire to live their lives like Americans. So why does the UK’s politics and media (comprising an infinitely small percentage of the UK population) keep raising the question of whether UK sides with Europe or US???
