It's "too small" is usually a criticism people level when they want to look skeptical, but don't know enough about the technology to ask real questions about its viability.

Of course, "all else being equal" is doing a lot of lifting. Projects are complex, and other factors such as flow rates are important.

It's a great report! But I think those estimates are more of a floor than a ceiling.

The modelling assumed projects could use temperatures up to ~220/225C. But projects like Mazama's have reached temperatures over 300C - and ARPA-E is targeting 400C

Why would dx costs be substantially lower today?

I can see NWA lowering some costs, but also have to weigh those savings against the need for major upgrades
