Just shows with both Henderson's comments about his goal and Milner's comments about coming on at Anfield wearing the number 20 how much people have been affected by the loss of Jota. Maybe we need to take that into account when judging the team this year.

The one set of immigrants they haven't gone after are the very ones Trump said they were being established to go after the criminal gangs. That's because they might be capable of fighting back and cowards and bullies don't like that.

Apparently before the World Cup draw FIFA have decided to award the inaugural "FIFA Peace Award". Guess who's getting it? Makes up for missing out on the Nobel then. We'll need a new World Cup trophy as well cos this one will end up in Mar-a Lego. God help the Olympic gold medallists in 2028.

This is Long Thatcher similar to Long Covid. So much money from things like power, water, rail travel etc that used to go to the Government and back into the system now goes into the pockets of the rich. There's not enough money left to pay for everything which is why we're stuck with austerity.

Totally disagree with you about Gomez he's never let us down at centre back or full back. Apart from injuries I think he would've been England's first choice centre back now. Problem is he is just far to injury prone.

The Labour Party has become pathetic, trying desperately to compete on an agenda set by Reform while refusing to address the real issues that are making ordinary people's lives difficult. Shows what a low opinion they've got of the British public if they think we're all just a bunch of racists.

She was in Parliament today blaming division caused by asylum seekers for her being racially abused. That's not the case at all, the reason she is being racially abused is because the previous Tory Government, the Reform supporting media and now her and her cabinet colleagues have legitimised racism

Starmer has abandoned every principal of the Labour Party and it's not having the vote winning effect he wants. He's never going to win over the racists he's pandering to and most people with principals are looking toward other parties such as the Greens, Liberals, SDP and Plaid Cymru.

I had a friend who was a navigator in Lancasters, won the DFC and was shot down twice, escaping via Switzerland the first time but remaining a POW after being shot down over Berlin the second time. He didn't like talking about the war but I always remember one quote "War dehumanises you".
