So far as I know no evidence of any sex crimes by Mandelson has been suggested, and no accusations made. Being close friends with a known convicted trafficer of minors should have been enough to prevent his appointment.

Starmer KNEW that Mandelson stayed in Epstein's house while Epstein was in prison. He KNEW that he continued the friendship after Epstein was released. He KNEW that he was involved with Ghislaine Maxwell's charity. He knew all this before he appointed him. Big red flags were ignored.

Unlikely that the pipes would shatter, especially the modern polypenco ones. Changes in temperature would affect the tuning, and moisture could after some playing time freeze the reeds. Main problem would be frozen fingers!

I was far more productive when I was WFH. For a start, I didn't have
folk popping into my office every 10 minutes asking daft questions they could have easily found the answers to themselves. And I only had to go five yards to get lunch or coffee.

The things I danced to when I first went to nightclubs stuck with me. That Spandau tune is a belter, with a stonking (albeit basic) baseline. Still fond of Yazoo too. No apologies. More positively, I discovered Simple Minds too, via Celebrate and I Travel (jumped ship after New Gold Dream, obvs).

That looks great, but £35 is a bit much for me. I'll stick with my 1970s Capitol reissue, which isn't as attractive as your one but I'm pretty sure is mono and is a decent pressing.
