I think negativity and sarcasm works for conservatives but the left vote isnt motivated by that. Ugly politics is ACT and NZ First territory.

Ardern and Mamdani and the Greens in the UK show that LW voters want progressive and positive politics. Snarky politics like HRC leads to collapse of the LW vote

Ā lot of people think given how awful the CoC has been, the LW should be much higher in the polls. Even national have been doing the numbers to roll Luxon. But they still lead. I would argue that Hipkins has done an awful job to be trailing National and unable to form a government

I don't have a problem with parties blowing their own horn. I do have a problem with parties that are going to need each other throwing muck at each other. There's a difference there which I think you could acknowledge.
