I think people by then realise it's becoming a farce when nothing much changes from the previous year. New year resolutions are rarely made and those that are are not kept.

You've been pluralised again on Facebook by someone writing a comment about your song Virgin Mary had a little Baby. I had been listening to the song myself. The song was good as usual. I'm forever correcting people about your name and not just on Social media.

The first time I heard any Christmas carols so far this year was in Sheffield when the Salvation Army Band was playing. I would say it's just about right to be playing them. These on your post are pleasant to listen to unlike noisy crooners.

They keep advertising goods for sale but they are only interested in filling their pockets. What I can't understand is why they keep advertising training opportunities.

Vince Hill mentioned this in his song The importance of your Love. This was1968 when he appeared at Blackpool. He died I think 2 years ago. Of course I remember you saying that he lived near you.

My son works at a hospital and the number of patients who turn up on the wrong day is fairly numerous .

I remember this happening. It seems like yesterday. I heard it on the scrapbook and despite the sound quality because of its age it was still pleasant to listen to.

Let's hope the weather is ok. I understand there has been a break in the hot weather but it has now eased . I understand you make annual visits as your wife was born at Berwick on Tweed .
