Nobody's acting surprised. Dolly Parton is a living example of goodness, a person who has used her wealth and celebrity to help others who are less fortunate. This is a dark time. People are concerned about the welfare of a beloved figure who reminds them that the world is not completely evil.
Bill Clinton's sexual encounter with Monica Lewinsky was an abuse of power that should have ended his presidency. Instead, the Clintons and their allies contrived to ruin Lewinsky's life. Bill is a sexual predator as rotten as Trump. Stop covering up Bill Clinton's crimes.
But they'll still collect as much loot as always. Plus they won't be expected to pass legislation that will antagonize their wealthiest donors. Of course they'll expect us to reelect them.
CNN has been an enthusiastic collaborator with the Republicans at least since 2015. They helped usher Trump into the White House, twice. They also worked overtime to sabotage Hillary's 2016 bid and Joe Biden's presidency. They are not friends of the people.
