.Also, UK is somewhat of an outlier here, largely because of its colonial past. e.g., a large pop. from South Asia.

France and Germany (e.g.) have far fewer non-white residents and at current immigration rates would take centuries to reach 50/50 white/non-white.

The proposition is ludicrous.

Amongst the assumptions in the above:
- white population remains stagnant
- population growth of current residents is equal white/non-white (= fewer white/vs non-white children even though there are many more whites)
- all immigrants are non-white

This is bonkers, as simple maths show. Take the UK. 70 million pop, 18% non-white (which is what we're talking about here) - 12.6 mill. Current immigration rate (arrivers vs levers) is around 200K/year. i.e. it would take +/- 100 years for that 18% to grow to 50%. But lots of assumptions in that.

And of course, "The Bible". Neurotribes by the sadly missed Steve Silberman.

Books: How to Raise a Happy Autistic Child by Jessie Hewitson. The only one which is largely informed by speaking to adult autists, and the only one which explores current understandings of autism, e.g. monotropism.

Also, she's a journalist, so it's well-written and researched.

Forget about "interventions and techniques", just be there for him. Whatever that is.

He's a child before he's an autistic child.

It also teaches kids not to trust their own feelings and worse, teaches kids that to be themselves is wrong.

There are no independent studies showing that ABA is beneficial for autistic kids. But there are long-term studies showing the reverse. It’s harmful and damaging.

Why are we even having this discussion? Vaccines CAN’T cause autism - you’re autistic by the time you’re vaccinated.

Further, there’s no mechanism that’s been established, or even suggested, for how this might occur.

Vaccines don’t cause left-handedness either.

What's often missed in all this is that vaccines CAN'T cause autism - by the time you're vaccinated, you're already autistic.

Also missed is that there's no mechanism whereby vax can "cause" autism, nor has one ever been proposed.

As absurd as claiming vax cause left-handedness.
