I shoot a 40mm on the M5 a bit. I just estimate between the 35 and 50 lines
I’ve had trouble tracking down a reasonably priced external 35mm viewfinder for my bessas, so I end up shooting my 8 element 35mm with my 40mm viewfinder. I just give up on the corners

We all made that mistake (assuming prices wouldn’t go up much further) even as recently as 2 years ago.
And what felt like an endless supply of inexpensive lenses has quickly dwindled to mostly garbage copies or trophies. (IMHO of course).

I’m not tracking with this, and I understand what Google can be used to find… but what does a brand new black M6 or MP go for these days… $7k ($9,725 plus CAD) feels like ‘collector’ rather than ‘shooter’. But maybe that’s obvious to everyone living in touch.

I turned down not just one, but two (free) Rolleiflexs - barely used from their last service - because I thought ‘what would I ever do with them?’ And promptly trucked off into the wilderness with a massive dslr camera rig that *almost robbed me of my love of photography forever.
