On Wednesday I completed a YouGov survey. Unusually it asked me whether I had been a member of UK Armed Forces, what I knew of Defence organisations in UK and NATO.
Then it asked if I would approve of British Forces being sent to Ukraine.

Deeply disappointed by Olusoga's series on the British Empire: it is far too short and makes a very few points repeatedly. This much is made of Indian indentured labour, but Chinese indentured labour is ignored. Australasia was explored initially for its potential to supply masts for the Royal Navy.

Olusoga identified many interesting points of departure but failed to explain why the British Empire became stronger than the Moghul (which was as big at one time). There was an issue of trust.
