I’ve been thinking about this for years now, but always thought that it wouldn’t achieve anything because of our ridiculous FPTP electoral system. Like a lot of others (now over 110,000 members!) I’ve arrived at the decision that this is the best hope we have for a fairer and more radical future

Well I guess that just underlines that I won’t be visiting the USA again any time soon. I used to be a regular visitor for work and pleasure and lived in Chicago for a while, but those days are long gone

I’ve been to several Teenage Cancer Trust gigs at the Royal Albert Hall over the years and the shows have been great as well as being a fantastic charity fundraiser. The line up for 2026 though is outrageously good, and I’m not sure my credit card can stand it

Just back from my first experience delivering flyers for the Green Party. Overall, very positive reception with just one rather rude chap who didn’t seem like the sort I’d want to go to the pub with anyway

So the government appear to have forced the DG of the BBC to resign to please Trump, and are still spending taxpayers cash posting on X to please Musk. Spineless. I had such high hopes and look at what we have ended up with.

For the record, I saw The Smiths live on their three UK tours and they were honestly one of the best live bands

All four members of my family are now Green Party members and I met someone else this morning who told me he joined last week having never been a member of a political party before
