I just take my iPhone 17 pro, it’s got a tremendous camera in it. I’m in Fredericton, New Brunswick (Canadian Maritimes). I do run into Deer and Eagles a lot, but never any trouble. Check my daily Vlog. I post every morning after my walk.

Every day before sunrise I walk 4 miles on the riverfront trail in my city.
