In the last months, I supervised two super-talented research interns (unfortunately Bluesky-less). They were interested in how self-esteem develops after negative events and examined this question in a longitudinal study over 6 months.

Integrating data from 8 panel studies, we found several replicable moderators of event-related personality changes. However, each moderator explained only a small proportion of the variance of event-related changes.
