Not in my life, up until Trump was defeated in 2020 (bad as he was in that administration) would I have imagined Trump in this current term would destroy Pax Americana, the 85 years of US enforced relative global peace. Nothing lasts forever but the ignorance behind that destruction is staggering.

The Joker in the pack though is Trumps mental and overall health, he does not look well and the weak rambling clusterfuck of his speech at Quantico to Generals indicates he is declining in all areas. Of course JD Vance would not be much better but what it means for the US atm is great uncertainty.

I agree with those who say the midterms won't be cancelled although that remains a possibility, it's more likely they will be subverted by the tactic of gerrymandering and intimidation in Democrat held electorates.
