I agree with Jeff Kaufmann here. Paul Pate is vulnerable, and we do have a great opportunity next year. If you want to help us prove him right, consider pitching in to our campaign before our end of year deadline.

It was great to be up in Oelwein on Sunday for the Fayette County Democrats’ holiday party! Loved being able to get into the holiday spirit with so many great people in NE Iowa!

Today we remember the attack on Pearl Harbor, the brave sailors we lost that day, and the generation that answered the call in the days that followed. Their courage shaped the country we live in. Let’s honor their service by striving to be a nation worthy of their sacrifice.

This issue goes to the heart of something larger than the office I’m running for. As a former Navy Helicopter pilot, I feel obligated to condemn these attacks against Senator Mark Kelly and his colleagues.

As military ballots from last week's election can continue to be counted today, this court case suddenly puts them in jeopardy for next year's election. We must do everything we can to make sure our voices are heard.
