A few weeks ago this climb beat me, it was wet sand and about 20%.
Went back yday and beat it. Max gradient 21% but sand was dry.
Later I discovered the Strava segment is called TOURMALET.
It's just north on Benameji in Córdoba.

I passed this Des. Res. in the campo the other day. It can't be seen but it looked as if there was a habitable part behind. A brand new Audi was parked there too

I remember collecting milk bottle tops, they were melted in metal work and used to form a screw driver handle.
Does it happen it schools now, molten metal poured into moulds and then shaped in a lathe. I wasn't a grammar school kid!
It's about 65 yrs old, valuable antique, the screwdriver too!

The real riders are Mark Cavendish and Rik van Looy, the other two is a dog exactly like My Maxy who died in March and me from yday at Lucena Station, now disused

Dusk and BlueSky is disappearing but leaving these images from my terrace. By the chimney there's LaTiñosa, highest peak in Córdoba and 40kms away and yet clear to see.
