Don’t know about any other dev. But I can get lost and zoned into creating navigation components pretty easily. As in, boom, single day ends in a badass sidebar component that works pretty nicely.

Been getting some time to work with Next.js at the full time gig. I am a bit rusty, however Zustand for state management is just insane. It’s like the Pinia for React ❤️

Dude. I’ve been in full on learn mode for 2 weeks straight now. For both full time gig and personal projects. My brain is in total potato mode. But in all honesty, I am having fun with all of the learning.

Honest question to devs who heavily rely on AI for their day to day. Are you at all worried about losing knowledge in regard to your craft? Not trying to start anything but genuinely curious.

After the bajillionth time running sam build and your config finally works. Not because of a bad subnet or security group. But simply an invalid space within the yaml file.

After the bajillionth time running sam build and your config finally works. Not because of a bad subnet or security group. But simply an invalid space within the yaml file.

You know what’s pretty cool? Learning something new and not having any clue if you are doing any of it right or even good. It’s like you are a Junior all over again and it’s super fun.

One of the greatest returns as a developer while learning something new is progress. Bet it, micro-sized personal wins or understanding of how something truly works. I’ve been knee deep learning React Native with Expo and it’s been pretty great. Esp, figuring out the quirks between platforms 😀

I am not the first or even, thousandth person to say this. But it’s just incredibly important to stay curious with your career. Not just software engineering but every career. I learned this the hard way by becoming complacent and honestly, too comfy.

About a week ago I started learning React Native and yowza. What a whirlwind of absolute learning experience that has been, so far. In a good and fun way, it’s like juggling a stack of bricks 😄
