»A Forest« by @thecure, this song - and the band! - somehow saved my life as a teenager. It hasn’t lost any of its magic. For me, interpreting it was both a journey through time and a trip into my innermost being. Coming January 19th! A little foretaste of my new album »Melancholia Beach«.

Rewind 23 years: "Disko23", the first official sign of life from konsorten ™, was released in 2001. I'm delighted that the stylistically rather sprawling EP has now been made available digitally for the first time. A journey into my musical past:

Slowly, a little calm seems to return - time for some contemplation. I wish all my friends and followers a joyful holiday season and peaceful togetherness.

I spent almost three years working on my new album, clearing out tracks and reworking them. The fact that I sent it off for mastering last Friday is still hard for me to believe. To let go, I treated myself with a weekend in Valjevo.

I'm excited and a bit nervous: a new song from my upcoming album will be released on Nov 15; it's called "What Could Go Wrong" and it's quite emotionally significant for me. Maybe that's why I'm looking so serious on the photo. Ah yes, and I'm singing it.

Goosebumps alert! I'm still processing a truly inspiring recording session with these great gentlemen to my right and left, Rob Bolland and Justin Dylan Bolland. Kudos to the Cosmix studio crew and @fabrique.bsky.social for making it all happen! Soon there will be something to hear (on my 2nd album)
