Much as the US did for the UK in WW2. They stole our colonies and kept us paying cash back until just a few years ago. The US doesn’t do altruism - just profit!

I do wish politicians wouldn’t talk such nonsense. With a 50/50 split on what the population want and believe in, an uneasy truce is the best we can hope for. There is no way I am going to ‘come together’ with a racist, nationalist Brexiter!

Much as I disapprove of it, I do mostly stream nowadays. Have a huge vinyl and CD collection, + a mammoth stock of cassettes (mostly albums recorded from friends’ collections) Never touch them. Too much hassle. Plus since I got wired for sound - Bluetooth hearing aids, I can stream all day!
