Thanks. Been fortunate to avoid the path of the fires thus far. But the winds were crazy. Can’t even begin to imagine trying to slow a fire (or much of anything) in that weather. Hope you and your loved ones are safe as well. And here’s hoping we might be starting to turn the corner on this thing.

Lived in SoCal over 30 years. Stood outside last night and said “I don’t know if I’ve ever seen winds this bad”. Glad Bianca was here to tell me I’m wrong. I guess I should have been less concerned about wind and focused on the real threat: space lasers.

My parents didn’t have babysitters. I was going with them to R rated movies as far back as I can remember. Now, my almost 10 year old is a huge horror fan and I’d probably be accused of child abuse if more people knew the scary movies he has already seen.

We have definitely thought about what future books would look like. Though we’d like to at least ensure we can make enough on this one to cover publishing costs. As for our youngest, he still keeps it in the book rotation, despite hearing it a ton. So it was a success in his eyes.

I’m mad. I was hoping to have a few more days to enjoy the win on Sunday because I just know they are gonna piss me off tonight. 😂

We wrote this book because of our youngest son’s love for elevators. What’s funny is, for a period of time, he hated escalators. 😂 But in the world of our book, I believe elevators, escalators, etc. would all get along.

I learned in school (CA). Feel like it was around that 2-3rd grade period (been awhile). Still in CA and my oldest is past 3rd grade and has never been taught cursive in school. But my understanding is CA is bringing the requirement to learn back to schools.

Since creating an account here, Its opened my eyes to how toxic ALL discourse (not just political) is over there. Truly hoping we all continue to cultivate the positive atmosphere created here up to this point.

Every daycare/class my 4 year old has been in has been like 40% Jaxsons. See quite a few Logans and Harpers and there is always one random kid with a name like Patriot.

That sequence has pretty much summed up the season so far: a disappointing setback just as the team is getting some momentum. Hope Puka is alright.

Really digging how easy it has been to find other gamers/game industry folks on here. Welcome aboard!

Probably easy to tell what part of the world I’m in…

NBA: Lakers
MLB: Dodgers
NFL: Rams
College: USC/Colorado
WNBA: Sparks
NHL: Kings

Also have a long list of teams I will ALWAYS root against, but I can save that list for another time. 😂

The minute this game was officially announced I made the decision to avoid the comments section of every single review and/or preview I came across and I am 100% convinced my life is better for it. Looking forward to starting this one up soon.

As someone that is not ashamed to admit I still love games that require grinding for levels, JRPGs often fill that need like no other genre.

I’m all for this. And maps that show collectibles, update as they are found. Once just figuring out what collectibles are left becomes harder than beating the actual games, I’m usually out.
