I am so sorry. I can't even imagine. Those moments you shared seem so powerful -- and they were such simple caring things like touch and validation and compassion and coffee and family. It's crazy how much all that can do so much. I am glad you could save them forever with your art.

And this is not me asking for pity or whatever someone might twist this into. It's just to say a lot of Christians are having these same concerns and it's scary to see what the church is doing - and not doing! It's not okay! It's wrong and it needs to stop.

As a Christian I can't even tell you. It makes me so mad to see people EVERYWHERE just ... weaponizing it & justifying their hate when we're literally told to love everyone like Jesus does. It's meant to be us sacrificing ourselves for others & the world -- yet these ppl are selfish, cruel, & scary
