Feds: Don’t sign the deferred resignation / buyout deal. Remember the continuing resolution to fund the gov only lasts through March 14. So if they can’t make a deal and the gov shuts down we are all getting furloughed (not paid). There isn’t a good deal here.

1/2 Overhaul the federal government? I guess destroying the morale of the federal workforce is one way to do that? And what about the mental health ramifications of turning lives completely upside down? I wouldn’t be surprised to see depression, anxiety, and even su1cide rates climb after this.

2/2 Seems counter intuitive if you want to increase productivity in the workplace. But what does an organizational psychologist know? To them a loss is savings regardless of how it occurs. No employee to pay due to attrition, or god forbid death = cost savings. We are the pawns in their sick game.
