My fave bean concoction: Gigante beans in olive oil broth with lemon and ricotta. Fresh basil, tomatoes, pesto and pine nuts--when I feel fancy. Which is rare. Soup is food of the gods to me in winter. Your bowl looks great!

I don't post a lot of personal things on line, but I am proud of this loaf of bread. Seems like baking, sewing, fixing broken things, cooking, and growing things is going to become exceedingly important as we roll along here. And sharing with those who can't.
