Depends on the homeschooling parent, but you're generally right. This wouldn't have passed muster with my conservative Christian mother, though. I had to at least cite book, chapter, and verse if using the Bible as a source. But she had standards. Most homeschoolers don't.

It really depends on the yarn tbh. Cotton might be easier to work with since most cotton yarns I've ever encountered aren't fuzzy but you get the hang of how a yarn is going to cooperate pretty fast. If you can figure out embroidery I'm very confident you'll crush this, too.

That's really cool! Admittedly I hadn't heard of these before. What a neat gadget! One of my favorite things about history are the genius ways people gone about solving problems, just like this! ❤️ Did you have any plans on what you might make with it?

Lol that's so funny, I used to sew stuff myself but I've been out of it for so long I'd be basically back to square one, too. I made, like, larping/Renaissance faire type stuff. That was before transitioning, though. Men's clothes just don't feel as interesting.
