On Sunday, they also delivered drinking water to Invincibility Points located in schools in the Desnianskyi, Dniprovskyi, Sviatoshynskyi, and Holosiivskyi districts. These supplies are for people who come to warm up, charge their phones, and get through the cuts to essential services.

🌡️On Monday, our team at People in Need Ukraine delivered 20 heat pumps to five Invincibility Points on the left bank of the city, where heating and electricity disruptions are felt most severely. The equipment will help ensure that people have a warm place to stay.

As Ukraine faces another winter under attack, strengthening energy resilience and protecting civilian infrastructure remain essential to saving lives and supporting recovery.

🤝The event brought together representatives of EU institutions, Member States, Ukrainian authorities and civil society, including Vladimír Bärtl,; Peter Wagner; Boriša Falatar; Aliona Shkrum; Olena Skyrta; Andrii Martyniuk,and Anzhelika Bielova.

💬Anna Duda, of PIN Ukraine, stated that: “For millions in Ukraine, heating and electricity are not about quality of life. They are about staying in their homes and staying alive. Supporting energy resilience today is a lifesaving humanitarian action and an investment in recovery tomorrow.”

🎤Speakers discussed how systematic attacks on civilian infrastructure affect families, hospitals, schools, and entire communities. The discussion resulted in policy and operational recommendations addressed to EU institutions and Member States.

🌡️❄️The event, “Keeping Ukraine Warm: Heating, Energy Resilience, and Lifesaving Infrastructure Under Fire”, highlighted that in Ukraine, access to energy and heating is not a matter of comfort but of survival.

In addition, 57 vulnerable children identified as being in immediate danger were fast-tracked for life-saving referrals to specialised protection and health services, and were provided with food, winter clothing, or emergency shelter.
